Exploring the empty streets of Espanola Way in South Beach, Miami. Loving this super comfortable and fitted green dress. I’m usually one to stick to naturals and black when it comes to dresses. But I find myself reaching for more basic colors, I find basics and solids mean they will have a longer life in my wardrobe. I’ve found Femme Luxe is a great place for basic dresses and pieces, at an affordable price. I’m all about dressing cute and looking like a million bucks, without having to spend it, which is why I also love browsing ShuShop Shoes for affordable and tredy styled heels.
I’ve never been one to sport a brown dress out for the night, I’m typically a little black dress kind of girl, but this Femme Luxe dress has me thinking differently! This material is super comfortable, breathable and stretchy giving it the perfect form fitting shape. Along with the ruched details around the waist, this dress is perfect for giving off the illusion of a more snatch wasit and perfect for a night to hide a food baby. ;P
I paired it with a simple brown heel and dainty jewelry. And can you believe this dress is under $20?! I swear once quarantine is over I will never say no to going out again! Hahaha especially now that I have all of these cute outfits to try out for real!
Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! During our quarantining I’m trying to do my best at taking extra care of myself, including my skin. A big part of this is proper diet, lots of water and most importantly good skincare! I wanted to share my current must haves by one of my favorite brands Image Skincare. I’ve been a lover of this line for around 5 years now and am obsessed with their ORmedic line. My absolute must haves are the lip balm, it keeps my lips moisturized all day! And the total resurfacing mask, minimizes my pores, softens my skin and improves my skin tone.
I use the face wash morning and night, followed by the vitamin C. In the mornings I’ll use the SPF after the vitamin C.
2 or 3x a week I’ll alternate between the exfoliating wash and exfoliating mask to keep my skin smooth and glowy!
Long time, no see! Amidst all of this change and time spent at home, I decided this would be the perfect time to start back up with regular posting to my blog. I want to start sharing my fashion, beauty and Miami lifestyle with you all again, and be sure to follow me on Instagram @AroonMelane where I post even more!
Living in Miami, my wardrobe consists mainly of shorts, tank tops, and bikinis! If you’ve followed me for a while, you would know I love the swim brand Lila Nikole!
Now let me just say these shoes are the star of the show! I’m completely obsessed and they’re some of the comfiest heels I own! Living in Miami I walk A LOT and having comfy heels is key to surviving down here!
Recently I’ve been loving to add a watch to my looks, its a simple way to make your look more classy and sophisticated. And it’s a functional accessory!
I discovered JORD Watches and instantly fell in love with their brand, message and watches! JORD is known for their hand made, customizable wooden bands. When I tell you the packaging and watch smelled like it was take straight from the forest, I mean it!
I wanted to get a watch that would fit with my style, something not too small, but not too large and a metal that already matches the majority of jewelry I wear. So instantly the rose gold popped out to me! I find rose gold to be easy to style and the Koa wood band compliments the rose gold perfectly!
You can bet this watch is going to be making several appearances in my upcoming looks.
My watch is the Koa & Rose Gold from the CORA series. For each of the different woods used, JORD has created an amazing guide describing the wood and level of sustainability! You can see more here.
Koa is a finely ground golden wood, with rose tones. It is native to Hawaii and is their second most common tree, it is a flowering tree and is a part of the pea family! Koa means brave, bold, fearless and comes from the Hawaiian language.
This year for Miami Swim Week I kept things a little more low key and only attending a few events that were hosted by my close friends. One of said events was a pop-up at Moreno’s Cuba Restaurant in South Beach, hosted by Bikini On Demand. Where four different designers were showcasing their newest swimwear pieces.
Of course I couldn’t go to the event without sporting my new favorite look from Lilac and Lilies Boutique. The same boutique that styled by New York Fashion Week trip! And I have to say, these pants are some of my new favorites!
