One thing I’m most excited about is taking out some of my cute new pieces for a night on the town. I’ve recently received this red, one strap dress, which I’m certain is the most perfect date night look! We took it for a little spin down the abandoned streets of Espanola Way and Lincoln Road, in Miami and I’m itching to take it out. I’ve been trying so many new pieces from Femme Luxe and I’m loving all their dresses so far. I’m convinced this is the best place to look for all your date night pieces.
Big shoutout to Jen Tee Photography, aka my bestie, for shooting these amazing photos. Check her out here.
Back at it again with another must-have LBD! I’m telling you, Femme Luxe has to be one of my new go-to sites for affordable and trendy clothing. This beautiful black midi dress ties around the waist, exposed one sleeve, giving it a trendy edge and uniqueness from your standard little black dress. The material is extremely soft and stretchy, creating a flattering silhouette for all body types. I’m just waiting for the day social distancing ends so I can take this piece out for the night!
Of course, a little black dress needs a little black heel. If you saw my previous outfit post, you would know one of my good friends created this design with Cecconello Shoes and I’m obsessed. This heel height is perfect for me, and the faux leather is so soft and comfortable for wearing on long nights out. What’s your favorite place to shop for fun basics?
Tis’ the season of staying indoors, but who’s to say that will stop us from shopping! I’ve found the cutest online store, for inexpensive and trendy clothing, so I had to share! This dress is one of my all-time new, favorite little black dresses from Femme Luxe. The one-shoulder style is so flattering, and the firey designed puff sleeve adds an extra oomph to the outfit. Every woman needs a LBD, so why not make it stand out. I styled this dress with one of my best friends collaborative shoe design, The Urban Gal x Cecconello, and I have to say this is one of the comfiest heels ever! The faux leather is so soft and stretchy, and the strap around the heel keeps it in place even if the wrap gets loose. A total comfy and boss babe look!
Long time, no see! Amidst all of this change and time spent at home, I decided this would be the perfect time to start back up with regular posting to my blog. I want to start sharing my fashion, beauty and Miami lifestyle with you all again, and be sure to follow me on Instagram @AroonMelane where I post even more!
Living in Miami, my wardrobe consists mainly of shorts, tank tops, and bikinis! If you’ve followed me for a while, you would know I love the swim brand Lila Nikole!
This year for Miami Swim Week I kept things a little more low key and only attending a few events that were hosted by my close friends. One of said events was a pop-up at Moreno’s Cuba Restaurant in South Beach, hosted by Bikini On Demand. Where four different designers were showcasing their newest swimwear pieces.
Of course I couldn’t go to the event without sporting my new favorite look from Lilac and Lilies Boutique. The same boutique that styled by New York Fashion Week trip! And I have to say, these pants are some of my new favorites!
You guys, I think I’ve found my new favorite restaurant! Chotto Matte, off Lincoln Road Mall in South Beach. It’s a little hidden and off the main path, but once I stepped inside it was like walking into a whole different area. The design and decor inside is stunning, and the food was even better! If you’re into exotic cocktails and a contemporary sushi experience, Chotto Matte is right up your ally. I dined on their vegetarian bento box and the food it was phenomenal, already planning my next reservation asap!
Not sure if you can tell… But red is my favorite color, and this red Lilac and Lilies dress was one of the most flattering pieces I wore during my NYFW events. And it perfectly paired with the Frida Kahlo purse, which I received endless compliments on.
This night in NYC was a particularly freezing one, that my Miami blood was not prepared for. But that aside, we watched one of the most entertaining fashion shows, the YEROC by Corey Woods. The pieces were fantastic and the performance was one for the books.
We found another amazing vegan restaurant, that I wish would make its way down South. Blossoms, was my all time favorite restaurant for the trip, the full menu was vegan and their Truffle, Mushroom Pizza was insanely delicious!
My look for this nights show was one of my favorite pieces from Lilac and Lilies Boutique, in Fort Lauderdale Florida, this flattering white dress. Paired with our Livin’ the MAD Life “Winter Sparkle” tote.
Our trip for New York Fashion Week was nothing less than wonderful. We tried some amazing vegan foods, enjoyed stunning runway shows and explored parts of the city that we have never been to.
This day was my Zara look, I wanted something fun and classy, but wearable. Which is why I went with a chunky heeled bootie, to carry me around the city for a full day.
We spent most of the day in SoHo, aka South of Houston rd., and it was the most charming little space! We stopped by Bulletin.Co, a female empowering, pink wonder world, that needs to be experienced at least once! And we ate at By.CHLOE for breakfast and lunch! It’s so nice having full vegan restaurants at the tip of your fingers, it makes ordering much more simple!
