Netflix & Veg

Taking a spin on the ever famous “Netflix and chill” idea, I’ve decided to post my ideal Netflix and Vegetate night.

And who says you need to have a significant other to have a fun night in. If anyone is the master of staying in, I’d have to say I take the cake. I’d much rather cozy up to a movie then spend the night partying and I know some of you guys have to feel the same!

Today I wanted to share a few key things needed to make your night in, the coziest.

A Friend (Furry, or not, or both!)

My friends and I usually always opt to have a girls night in, and having someone to gossip with always makes the night more fun. And of course I can’t forget my furry little friend, Finn, who you can find snuggled at our feet.

A Good Show

Up to now I’ve been on “The Bachelor” bandwagon and haven’t been able to stop!

But if there aren’t any good shows to watch, or you’re all caught up, here are some of my all time favorite romcom/romance movies.

Hitch – The Holiday – Friends with Benefits – Breakfast at Tiffanys – Pride and Prejudice

Comfy PJs

And there’s nothing better that slipping into my favorite satin pjs or cozy robe. Here is one of my favorites from AdoreMe!

Yummy Snack

My infamous caramel popcorn is always the most popular guy of the night and the most key ingredient to your your Netflix and veg night! Here is a link to my caramel popcorn recipe!

Sunday Funday

Sunday Funday

Sundays are such a weird day. It is still the weekend yet we are dreading the next day! Instead of worrying about the week ahead of you, just focus on having a free day to do whatever you want.

My Sundays are usually relaxing, productive and fun! Here are some ways to make your Sundays Fundays!

  • Sundays are a great day for cleaning! During the week we either have school or work and cleaning is the last thing you want to do. So save these for your Sundays, it is always nice coming home during the week to a clean place!
  • Try something new! Sundays are also a good day to try something new, maybe its a new face mask you just got, or a new show you want to watch, do it! This sunday I am trying a new recipe, a delicious, cheesy, buttery slice baked potato! (Will be on the blog this week)
  • Get some work done. Wether it’s school work or work work, try to get something done. Getting some work done ahead of time makes Sundays less stressful. Try to knock out the unfun stuff early in the day, so you have the rest of Sunday to relax!
  • Which leads me to relaxing! Sundays should not be stressful, they should be fun! It is still the weekend! 🙂 My go to is netflix! I loveeee me some netflix, and I have watched a ton of showssss, to name a few: The Originals, Gossip Girl, Revenge, Pretty Little Liars, Vampire Diaries, Greys Anatomy, New Girl, Orange is the New Black, the list goes on. I am a netflix freak, as are a lot of us. So use today to catch up on some shows and relax!

Don’t let the start of the week drag you down! Let’s make Sundays Fundays!
