This night in NYC was a particularly freezing one, that my Miami blood was not prepared for. But that aside, we watched one of the most entertaining fashion shows, the YEROC by Corey Woods. The pieces were fantastic and the performance was one for the books.
We found another amazing vegan restaurant, that I wish would make its way down South. Blossoms, was my all time favorite restaurant for the trip, the full menu was vegan and their Truffle, Mushroom Pizza was insanely delicious!
My look for this nights show was one of my favorite pieces from Lilac and Lilies Boutique, in Fort Lauderdale Florida, this flattering white dress. Paired with our Livin’ the MAD Life “Winter Sparkle” tote.
As some of you may know from my previous post (here), I have been volunteering at a non profit monkey sanctuary in Clewiston, Florida called The Talkin’ Monkeys Project.
As part of graduating from Florida Gulf Coast University, we are required to perform a certain amount of community service hours as well as create a project to showcase what services we have been performing for these places. So without further waiting, here is the video my group created for our final project. Hope you enjoy!
A part of graduating from Florida Gulf Coast University is volunteering for 100hours at a non profit organization. As a transfer student I am only required 40, but today I found the place I will be acquiring all 40 hours, plus some!
There is this amazing project called The Talkin’ Monkeys, and they are literally doing such a awesome things for these animals.
A few of the primates here were saved from horrible, abusive homes, and now live in an amazing sanctuary where they are well looked after 24/7.
Today was only orientation so we did not do too much interactive activities, but I am looking forward to spending many hours here.
I will be posting more about my time at Talkin’ Monkeys, and I will show you guys the bond I create with these amazing, intelligent animals.
