A Foodies Paradise

Living in Miami, Florida, I am constantly surrounded by amazing food. So I thought it would only be fair to share the amazing foods I find.

I decided to start out this new foodie series with a few places that will be first on my list to try. You’ll probably notice most of the restaurants I’ll be testing out are relatively healthy, because I try to maintain a mostly plant based diet, besides the occasional treat here and there.

Jugo Fresh
1935 West Ave #102, Miami Beach, FL 33139

I’d imagine you could get almost any sort of detox juice and smoothie you could imagine. But I am particularly dying to try one of their bowls.

Maoz Vegetarian
1657 Washington Ave Miami Beach, FL 33139

If only to try their falafel! This “chipotle styled” restaurant is definitely bringing back some memories from one of my favorite falafel places, Hubbly Bubbly,in my other home town, Winter Park.

Sugar Factory
Hotel Victor, 1144 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL 33139

So this place will definitely have to be saved for a time when I am really feeling like splurging. All of this healthy food will be out the window after I indulge in one of Sugar Factory’s gorgeous milkshakes!

2 Minute Healthy Dessert Under 100 Calories

Can you even believe it?!!?

I want to start adding more health and fitness related posts to AroonMelane, so what better way to start it off? This extremely quick and easy dessert has been one of my go-to’s recently!

All you need is a bag of frozen fruit, your choice (but the fruit you choose may change the calorie count).

I’ve been using frozen mango chunks from Trader Joes, as I find the mango has a better texture.

Once you have your serving of frozen fruit out, stick it in your blender, add some water and blend until creamy!

I love making this treat with mangos because one serving makes a lot! And the texture is that of an ice cream/Italian ice mix! It’s amazing and sooooo easy!

One serving (14 pieces) of Trader Joes mango chunks = 90 calories

What’s your favorite healthy dessert?

In love with the strappy bralette trend! It makes wearing open backed tops so much easier, and can really add something special to an outfit.

I’m usually not one for earrings, but this ear cuff is just to adorable! I am definitely going to have to search the internet for some  more cut ear cuffs to rock this summer.

Something you should know about me: I am addicted to ice cream and these pants.

These pants are the comfiest things I ever did slip my legs into and having a cone of cookie dough ice cream, while on the beach, made for the perfect day.

Absolutely in loveeeeee with these rings! Tilly’s has an amazing selection on their rings, so you know I had to order like 7 different sets!

How to Throw a Bangin’ Summer Party// Paperless Post

SUMMERMOODBOARD

Plan on throwing a fun party this summer? Well here are some of my favorite DIYs and outfits for an awesome party!

One of my favorite party DIYs is an ice cream bar! How fun would it be to have all your favorite toppings and ice cream laid out for your friends and family to enjoy.

And of course I had to incorporate pineapples! Pineapples and watermelons are killing it this summer, and what would a summer party be without adding those into your decoration and outfit!

Another awesome DIY is fruit popsicles. I have seen so many recipes and videos showing some of peoples favorite homemade fruit popsicles, and they just look too delicious to pass up. And hey, it’s summer so it’s bound to be a bit toasty out, and what better way to cool down than with a delicious kiwi popsicle!

This mood board was inspired by PaperLess Post’s fantastic invitations! Their watermelon invitation is adorable and makes me want to throw a party just so I can get the invitations! Click here to check out all of their cute cards! I am literally obsessed with all of their invitations, I wish I had enough reasons to throw parties just to use all of their cards.

This was the perfect ending to our family picnic today. Pairing this with some vanilla ice cream would be magical!

I hope you enjoy and let me know if you end up recreating this recipe!

Thanks
