Models in Bimini

I was fortunate enough to take a mini vacation to the gorgeous island Bimini a very, very small island, part of the Bahamas. Bimini is only 60 miles off the coast of Miami, which takes approximately 2 hours on a ferry or 30 minutes by seaplane.

The waters were exactly as you would imagine, bright turquoise and cerulean blue shades. The mode of transport was a golf cart, and it took only 10 minutes to get to one side of the island to the other. That being said, the resort I stayed in was the only resort on the island, Resort World Bimini, apart of the Hilton chain.

This trip was definitely one for the books, I was traveling with some fellow Miami models, also signed with DAS Models. We recently participated in Hawkers Model Volleyball, an annual volleyball tournament, held in South Beach, for local Miami model agencies and their signed models. Prize for the top four teams was an all expense paid trip to Bimini! My teammates and fellow models were nothing short of amazing, and the trip would not have been nearly as memorable without this group of people.

Already on the countdown for next years Hawkers Model Beach Volleyball.

Travel Guide | You have to try the fresh conch and lobster salad at Joe’s or Stuarts Conch Shack. Must visit the wreck at the southern end of the island. Edith’s pizza was a fan favorite. Luna Beach is a great place for some yummy food, drinks and lounging on the beach.

The Big City

This night in NYC was a particularly freezing one, that my Miami blood was not prepared for. But that aside, we watched one of the most entertaining fashion shows, the YEROC by Corey Woods. The pieces were fantastic and the performance was one for the books.

We found another amazing vegan restaurant, that I wish would make its way down South. Blossoms, was my all time favorite restaurant for the trip, the full menu was vegan and their Truffle, Mushroom Pizza was insanely delicious!

My look for this nights show was one of my favorite pieces from Lilac and Lilies Boutique, in Fort Lauderdale Florida, this flattering white dress. Paired with our Livin’ the MAD Life “Winter Sparkle” tote.

Sunday Brunch at Sciuri

I’m dying over this top from Ralph Lauren! It’s the perfect piece to dress up for a fancy night out, or to throw on some cute shorts and spend the day brunching it with your girls.

And I think I’ve found another favorite brunch spot, located in South Beach! If you’re looking for an authentic Italian bakery, where everyone is from Italy, then Sciuri Bakery is the place for you! They had the most amazing selection of baked goods, cakes, cookies, fudge, you name it! I don’t think I’ve ever had a cannoli so good! And they even have delicious lunch options like lasagna, pizza and, my favorite, the arancini! If this doesn’t sound good already, they even offered vegetarian options! I’ve definitely stumbled across a gem in South Beach!

Española Way

I always love how each major city has their own little foreign pockets. Take, for example, Little Italy in New York or China Town in San Fransisco. And here in Miami Beach, we have Española Way. Our little Spanish quarter in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

With the amazing Spanish restaurants, foreign music and Spain’s architecture, it’s like we took a trip back to Spain.

Española Way is definitely one of my favorite little spots in Miami Beach, and a great place to visit if you’re ever this way! Or if you’re just looking for a delicious Nutella filled croissant.

Miami Staycation

Española Way, in Miami Beach, has always been one of my favorite little spots to visit. The pink walls, hidden corridors and Spanish music, really make it feel like you’ve travelled to Europe!

And what better way to experience it, than with a little staycation at the El Paseo hotel! Right in the hustle and bustle, with the cutest little balconies and coffee room, it made for the perfect spot!

A cute little greeting, some yummy biscotti, a fresh cup of coffee, and I felt right at home!

Bottomless Brunchin’

I think I’ve found my new favorite spot for brunch in Miami. Not only does the atmosphere set a perfect mood for a Sunday brunch, but the food options are amazing and delicious.

This last Sunday was definitely one for the books and spent at the gorgeous Nautilus hotel in South Beach Miami. If anyone is looking for bottomless Rose and an amazing feast, this would be the place to go.

We started our Sunday of course dining on the feast provided for brunch and spent the rest by their gorgeous pool and cabanas. The ideal Sunday, if you ask me.

Europe 2017

The last 15 days I have had the most amazing experience, traveling, with one of my best friends, through two continents, 5 countries and 10 different cities! Needless to say, it’s been a lot of siteseeing and very little sleep.

I wanted to share some of my favorite memories during the trip and some must see places you have to visit if you’re ever in these areas! (Images are titled with the location.)

AmsterdamOur first stop was Amsterdam! Of course we had to stop and take a picture with the ever famous “I Amsterdam” letters. But the most memorable, and one of my favorite places during the whole trip was when we took an hour bus to Keukenoff to visit the tulip festival! The tulip festival is every year between April 1- May 13.Places to visit// Keukenoff Garden, Bulldog Cafe, Redlight District

Paris

Paris has to be one of my top favorite places we visited during the 2 week trip. Although we hardly met anyone who spoke English.

There is endless amounts to see and such amaizng food. My absolute favorite part of Paris was watching the Eiffel Tower twinkle in the middle of the night.

Places to visit// Eiffel Tower after 9pm and walking the stairs, The Lourve, George’s Restaurant, Norte Dame and Sainte Chapelle

London

From Paris to London we took the underground Chunnel (the train that goes under the English Channel.)

London was not quite as I expected, it was a bit like New York and quite a lot of the people were not the most friendly. But nevertheless it was still an amazing expericne. My absolute favorite place in London and one of my most favorite memories of the trip was visiting the royal jewels at the London Tower. Unfortunately not phones were allowed in the Royal Jewels chamber, but trust me when I say it is more than you could ever imagine!

Places to visit// The London Tower (Royal Jewels), The Renaissance Hotel, The London Eye, Changing of the Guards, Big Ben, A Play (we watched Wicked,) National Museum

Ireland

I know I’ve said all of these places are my top favorites, but the Cliffs of Moher were the highlight of the trip! The cliffs are off the coast of Shannon, the west side of Ireland, and 100% worth the trip.Places to visit// Cliffs of Moher, Guinness Facotory, must eat: Fish and Chips

Barcelona

Now Barcelona is the one place that I instantly fell in love with and would love to move here one day. There is endless amounts to do and such beautiful scenery and history around every corner.

While in Spain we spent two nights in Barcelona, 2 nights is Llafranc and 2 nights in a remodeled castle, Mas Torroella, set ontop of a mountain. And our last night was in a little coastal town south of Barcelona.

Places to visit or try// Park Guell, Sagrada Familia, Boating off the coast of Llafranc, Sangria, Park de la Ciutadella

Its remarkable how much you learn while traveling the world. I definitely caught the travel bug during this trip, and ready for the next adventure.
