This weekend I travelled up to Washington, DC with my boyfriend and his family, for the first time! We went to the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, Washington Monument and the White House.
Smithsonian American Art Museum
The design of the building itself, inside and out, was what seemed most spectacular to me.

The White House
As we were walking towards the White House we saw the presidential helicopters fly in to pick up Mr.Obama. It was so neat!

Today we will be exploring more of DC!

You take awesome pictures! I’m from Pennsylvania so I travel to Washington DC a lot but next time if you go again- it’s not history related but go to Georgetown! It’s such a gorgeous area:)

I love D.C.! I have been there twice and would love to live there one day. Everyone is so active all the time. It’s fun to see your pictures and think, “Hey, I stood right there, too!”

DC is such a lovely place. I live an hour from there, and my daughter goes to college there too.

That is so nice, an hour is the perfect distance. Not too close to be effected by traffic and tourist, but close enough to visit when you want. I bet your daughter loves it!
